Privacy and cookies

Dafydd Hopkins Driving Instructor is run by Dafydd, who is responsible for your information. Questions or requests: 07963 410081.

What we keep and why

• Your name, email, mobile and pickup address, so lessons can be booked and you can be collected.
• Your lessons, payments, lesson feedback and progress, so you and your instructor can see how you're doing.
• Your theory and driving test dates, if you add them, so lessons can be planned around them.

Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Emails are sent through our email provider. We don't sell your information to anyone.

Cookies

Two small cookies keep you signed in and show short confirmation messages. These are needed for the site to work, so they don't ask for permission.

With your permission only, we also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used (for example which pages people visit, and anonymised recordings of how pages are used), and Google Ads to see which adverts lead to bookings. If you choose "No thanks", none of these load.

Cookie settings to change your choice at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account to be deleted (we may need to keep payment records for tax purposes). If you're unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
